Investor Stewardship

We invest in companies on behalf of our clients and have undertaken to vote on resolutions and engage with the management of these companies on material issues. We do this with a view to encourage global best practice standards of corporate governance such that the invested companies are managed in a way that is sustainable and creates long term value for our clients.

Broader education has thus become our focal point, as demonstrated by our corporate citizenship initiatives.

Kgori Internships

  • Internships for final year students and recent graduates seeking exposure to, and some experience in, an investment management firm.
  • Interns have direct interactions with professional staff, including investments, operations and business development staff and are given tasks and projects to develop their understanding of investment management. A stipend is provided for the duration of the Internship.
  • Interns are treated as part of our staff complement and get to be a part of our corporate culture, as well as having access to many of the amenities that are enjoyed by our permanent staff.

Kgori Press Club

  • At Kgori Capital, we recognise that the media has a vibrant and important role to play in promoting business and the economic development of our country.
  • For this reason, we established the Kgori Business Press Club as a vehicle to bridge the gap between the worlds of media reporting and business, as well as to give more public insight to business and government activities.
  • The Kgori Press Club provides a platform for business and media to engage on topical issues that are of interest to the public.
